  • A reasonably sized image of your collection (.jpg format) emailed to me directly will definitely generate interest among potential buyers. Put your digital camera to work.
  • In an effort to keep this page fresh, please be aware of my policy:
  • Your listing will be hosted here for 60 days. When that time has passed, you will be removed.
  • Each listing has a date below it. That is the 60-day mark you can look forward to being removed on.
  • When I'm busy with my real job it may take a week before your ad is listed.
  • Do not promote Ebay or other auction sites in your ad.
  • If you want to extend your time or alter your listing, LET ME KNOW and I'll gladly do it.
  • Whenever possible, please include condition and value in your listing.
  • Oh yeah, it's FREE!

Sad to say... No one wants to sell on this site at the moment. Most likely reasons:
  • Everyone's hanging on to their Mad's because they're so entertaining, no one can bear to part with them!
  • Potential sellers realize their holding on to a priceless goldmine of irreplaceable humor!
  • Kid's of guys with large stashes are taking a sudden interest and won't let Dad sell them!
  • The predictability and relative safety of Ebay transactions trumps having to filter through the potential weirdos who frequent Doug's site!
  • Nobody has any money to buy anything!
  • This site is off line. This page is a figment of your imagination!
  • Sellers just threw away their old Mads, choosing not to go through a formal sales process which would prolong the shameful secret kept from friends and family that they were a Mad fan!
As you may already be aware, this site is a non-profit site. I put it together simply because I wanted to show off my collection of Mads and because I think the internet is a cool way to do it. I get a lot of enjoyment out of linking people together on the never ending search for Alfred. Many people have let me know how valuable these BUYERS and SELLERS pages have been to them. I have never thought of charging a fee for the service because it goes against the idea of a non-commercial site. But I'm not beyond receiving donations to help pay for webhosting fees. If you have found my site helpful or even profitable and you'd really like to show your appreciation, send me something!
