Here's the first of seven of the eariest auction catalogs from May 1998.
This one was created with Gary Kritzberg.
It was very well used by an unknown participant
because you'll see it contains many handwritten notes.

"Those early catalogs pale in comparison to the ones I have recently produced.
Back then, I typed the text separately, and the photos were cut out from real
photographs, and then arranged and glued to a separate piece of paper.
The whole works was then taken to the printer, and they printed and assembled
the catalogs. All the guts of the catalogs were printed in black & white.
Color was an option, but was not chosen due to the expense." -- Tim Johnson
