Here's

ABC Paramount, this is a MAD Magazine 45 rpm record. Originally,
this record was sold with a full color picture sleeve with artwork by

white label promotional copy that was given away to radio DJ's. The
two songs, Potrzebie & What - Me Worry, were alleged recorded by
Alfred E. Neuman and his Furshluginner Five, although I'm sure it was
just a typical 1950's house band that did the job. I have not played
this record, so I do not know how it sounds. But, it is in Excellent

There is a paper sticker on one side of the label, however.

#107 - MAD Magazine / Alfred E. Neuman Alarm Clock
Prototype 1964 MB $100
Here's
an ultra-rare piece of MAD Magazine memorabilia. Produced in 1964,
this is a MAD Magazine alarm clock. It is assumed that this clock
was brought into the MAD Magazine offices, with the idea that it
could be mass-produced, with MAD's approval. Apparently, the idea
was nixed, and the salesman went home dejected. But, that didn't
deter a certain MAD associate editor from keeping this clock for his
own personal collection. This clock features two (2) MAD logos and
four (4) Alfred E. Neumans on the face, along with a 1964 copyright
date. After I acquired this piece, I did some digging and discovered
more items that had come from the estate of Jerry DeFuccio, of which
several are appearing in this auction. I have not attempted to
operate this clock, for fear of damaging it. I like it just the way
it is. In Excellent display condition, with just a hint of storage

Poster Don Martin Art MB $35
Here's
a rare piece of Don Martin memorabilia. Produced in the 1970's by
the Young American Showcase, this item is a concert poster for the
band, Free Fare. Free Fare was a concept group, like the Monkees,
that was put together each summer by a company in Florida called
Young American Showcase (YAS). Each school year YAS would field many
groups, with each going to a different part of the country, and each
with a different style and composition. They were mainly Christian
guys that loved rock 'n roll, and played secular rock hits, with some
skits thrown in. This particular poster was illustrated by MAD
Magazine's Don Martin, and is quite rare. It measures approx. 23"
by 29", and is in terrific display condition. It is printed on
heavy poster paper, sort of like parchment, that doesn't allow it to
roll up properly (brittle). That being said, there is a 2"
crack in the center of the poster that you might want to mend with
tape (if you put the tape on the back of the poster). And, there are

Original Shipping Box MB $150
Here's
a super rare piece of MAD Magazine memorabilia. Produced in the
early 1960's by Contemporary Ceramics out of Chatham, New Jersey,
this is the large (5 1/2") version of the Alfred E. Neuman
ceramic bisque bust. These busts were initially offered for sale in

This bust is the larger of the two. The bust is beautiful, with
white bisque and no cracks on the base. There is a tiny dirt smudge
on the nose, and the sticker is missing from the bottom, however.
While these busts are frequently seen for sale on various websites,
this particular bust also has its original shipping box included.
Quite honestly, the opening bid could be considered a bid for the box

would be never. Here's your chance.

#123 - German MAD Magazine #180 Planet Of The Apes Unreleased
Cover RARE MB $25
Here's
a cool piece of foreign MAD Magazine memorabilia. Published in 2017
by Panini Verlags GmbH, this lot contains two (2) issues of the
German MAD Magazine #180. The magazines are identical in content,
but have different cover artwork. Initially, the official released cover was going to be the one with the Planet Of The Apes on it. But, there was some sort of pushback from the President of Turkey, who threatened to sue the German MAD if the cover went public. So, a last minute change was made. There were a few "Apes" issues printed, and those were given to the German MAD staff. Both of these issues
are unread, and in Near Mint condition, with ultra-light handling
wear.

#124 - A Collection Of Memorabilia From The Estate Of MAD
Artist Bob Clarke MB $25
Here's
some cool memorabilia from one of the Usual Gang Of Idiots.
Collected over the period of over fifty (50) years, this is a
collection of memorabilia from the estate of the late MAD Magazine
artist, Mr. Bob Clarke. Included in this collection is artwork,
brochures, a signed document receipt, a couple of carbon prints, and
some clipped newspaper cartoons. The large piece of art is a
painting of his father, while the other two pieces were anniversary
gifts to his wife. The newspaper cartoons are ones that he actually
drew, for a strip called, "Over Here" - a post WWII carton
(1946). All told, there are over 20 pieces of memorabilia. If
you're fan of Bob Clarke, this lot is for you. From the collection

#125 - Sergio Aragones The World's Funniest Sports Puzzle
1980 Signed 2x MB $30
Here's
a cool piece of MAD Magazine memorabilia. Produced in 1980 by
International Polygonics LTD., this item is a 550-piece, double-sided
sports puzzle. Called, "The World's Funniest Sports Puzzle",
this puzzle was illustrated by MAD Magazine's Sergio Aragones. This
puzzle is double-sided, and I can't even imagine the horror of trying
to put it together. But, the beauty of this item is that it has been
signed TWICE by Sergio Aragones. The first place he signed it is on
top of the box lid, "To Mike & Linda! Aragones '84"
The other spot he signed it is the inside of the box lid, where he
also drew a self-portrait. This item is quite rare, as it does not
even appear on the official Sergiography. And, it has been signed
twice! For all of you Sergio fans out there, this is your Brass
Ring. Go for it!

this. This item is still factory sealed, and is in Excellent display

#269 - MAD Magazine #521 / Game Of Thrones Issue w/ Withdrawn
Fold-In RARE MB $50
Here's
a super rare piece of MAD Magazine memorabilia. Published in 2013 by
E.C. Publications, this is issue #521 of MAD Magazine. However, this
particular issue is a rarity, as it contains a "controversial"
Fold-In by Al Jaffee. The original Fold-In for this issue (as
pictured) was replaced due to assumed sensitivity issues around the
2012 Aurora, Colorado theater shooting. However, some feel that it
was pulled by DC to protect their brand, as the shooting occurred at
a theater showing a midnight screening of the Batman movie, The Dark
Knight Rises. Says the consignor, "These GoT Issues were
recalled after DC management objected to the Fold-In's subject
matter. An older Fold-In was substituted. But it was subsequently
printed in an issue earlier this year (2019), indicating that the
initial pulling of it was more a business/timing matter, rather than
anything having to do with taste or sensitivity issues on
management's part." In any event, a few of the pulled issues
were saved, and this is one of them. It shows light handling and
storage wear, and is in Excellent display condition. From the
collection of an anonymous member of the UGOI.

Sept. 11 Cover MB $50
Here's
a super rare piece of MAD Magazine memorabilia. Published in 2001 by
E.C. Publications, this is a full color cover proof from issue #411
of MAD Magazine. However, this cover was never used for issue #411,
as it was deemed too controversial to use. This cover shows Alfred
E. Neuman crossing / breaking a "crime scene" tape, instead
of a finish line tape. But, in the wake immediately following the
September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, it was thought that this cover
was in bad taste. This piece is untrimmed, and features portions of
the "rainbow" of primary colors at the bottom. It measures
approx. 8 5/8" by 11 3/4" (folded), and is in Excellent
