I recently picked up a MAD Magazine #44 Jan. '59 in decent condition. The cover looks just as it does on your web page (which is a great resource by the way!!! Don't get rid of it ever!!!), but my question has to do with the back cover of this issue. I swear it doesn't look flawed, but it almost appears that maybe there is an impression from another issue on the back cover, almost like the inks from another issue stuck to the backside of this issue from stacking other MAD mags??!??!?? I honestly can't tell for sure.
